Meeting Planning

Scenic McCreary County, Kentucky is located in the southeastern part of Kentucky, just minutes off Interstate 75. In fact, from Interstate 75, you can be in McCreary County in about 20 minutes. The county is located within two hours driving time of Lexington, KY, and Knoxville, TN, and within three hours of Louisville, KY, Nashville, TN, and Cincinnati, OH.

McCreary County is situated at the southern portion of the Daniel Boone National Forest, and the northern edge of the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. This makes our county an ideal location for meetings or gatherings of individuals looking to relax and get away from it all, or have a productive meeting without the interruptions often found in more urban, bustling areas.

McCreary County offers water and sewer service throughout most of its areas, telephone service, internet, including high speed DSL, and even has a small airport for added transportation convenience.
